Come join Ministry in Motion of St. Andrew AME Church for TRANSCEND as we celebrate our30th year in ministry atour bi-annual liturgical dance conference for a weekend filled with dance, worship, and community. This event is a celebration of movement and faith, bringing together dancers of all skill levels to learn, grow, and connect. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just starting out, this conference offers both workshops and worship to inspire and uplift.
Worship Team Training
Join us for a Worship Team Training on May 31, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM at The Fellowship of Believers in Christ Church in Memphis, TN. This training will equip ministry leaders with essential skills in trauma-informed worship, focusing on compassion, defusing conflicts, and effective listening.
Taking Off The Mask
Join us on March 29th at 11:00 AM for an inspiring and transformative event titled "Taking Off the Mask: I See You," held at the Frayser Connect Center, 1635 Georgina Drive, 38127.
This empowering gathering features Rev. Dr. Erica Bolden Mack, an associate minister at St. Andrew AME Church and a passionate advocate for autism awareness and acceptance. Rev. Mack will share her personal journey, which encouraging attendees to embrace their futures with confidence and faith.
The event will also showcase liturgical dance featuring Rev. Dr. Sarita Wilson Anderson, who has over 25 years of experience in ministering in dance.
Inspired by Genesis 16:13, where Hagar recognizes God as "The God Who Sees Me," this event invites participants to explore the importance of vulnerability and connection.
