Pastoral Counseling
Life can be challenging. In recent years, we've experienced events that have profoundly affected us, from the pandemic and COVID-19 to political unrest, community violence, and injustices that feel deeply unfair. In the midst of these turbulent times, many of us have found ourselves questioning where God is in all of this. Sometimes, a spiritual perspective is essential for navigating these challenges. Everything in life carries a spiritual significance.
Pastoral counseling sessions, also known as spiritual counseling sessions, are designed to help you move forward with purpose and strength.
These sessions can be taken individually or combined with our liturgical dance therapy sessions, allowing you to regain your footing and align with the person God created you to be. If you’re seeking restoration of hope, renewal of your spirit, or revival for your soul, these sessions are for you.

Grief Support
Grief is a natural response to painful situations. While we often associate grief with the death of a loved one, it also emerges in various forms of loss we experience throughout life. Grief serves as an outward expression of our internal pain. In Western culture, there's a tendency to rush past our grief rather than acknowledging and normalizing our feelings. This often results in bottled-up emotions, which can become toxic and lead to explosive reactions.
Dance The Word Ministries is here to help you navigate your grief, whether it's due to death, situational loss, or the changes that come with different life seasons. Our grief support sessions are designed to assist you in reweaving the fabric of your life after loss.
These sessions can be taken individually or combined with our "Mourning to Dancing" sessions, which encourage you to physically move through your grief. If your spirit needs to reflect on cherished memories, if you require a safe space for your soul, or if you seek to breathe life into your weary heart, our sessions can provide the support you need.
